By accessing and using the Canadian Armed Forces Milsim ("CAF Milsim") website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
CAF Milsim is a military simulation gaming community that provides:
Age Requirements: You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. Users under 16 will be put under a probationary period.
Discord Account: A Discord account and membership in our Discord server is required to access most features.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate information during registration and keep your account information updated.
As a member of CAF Milsim, you agree to:
Prohibited Activities:
Application Process: All members must complete our application process, which includes providing information about gaming experience and availability.
Approval: Membership approval is at the discretion of CAF Milsim leadership.
Probationary Period: New members may be subject to a probationary period during which their membership can be terminated without cause.
Active Participation: Members are expected to participate in at least one operation per week unless on approved Leave of Absence (LOA).
CAF Milsim operates a rank structure and recognition system. Ranks are earned through participation, performance, and leadership. The unit reserves the right to promote, demote, or adjust ranks as deemed appropriate.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
Unit Content: All content created by CAF Milsim, including training materials, procedures, and unit-specific information, remains the property of CAF Milsim.
User Content: You retain ownership of content you create, but grant CAF Milsim a license to use it for unit purposes.
Third-Party Content: We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same.
Voluntary Termination: You may terminate your membership at any time by contacting leadership.
Involuntary Termination: We reserve the right to terminate memberships for violations of these Terms, inactivity, or other reasons deemed appropriate by leadership.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to unit resources and Discord channels will be revoked.
Gaming Activity: CAF Milsim is a gaming community focused on military simulation. We are not affiliated with any real military organization.
Service Availability: We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Third-Party Services: We use third-party services (Discord, web hosting) and are not responsible for their availability or policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, CAF Milsim shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which CAF Milsim operates. Any disputes will be resolved in Canadian courts with appropriate jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to members through our Discord server or website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
